Dr. Elnazir Ramadan holds B.A (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. in the field of Geography, in the College of Arts and Social Sciences, from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. Dr. Ramadan's professional background in academic teaching, research, and consultancy in issues related to land use planning and spatial development issues, including sustainable urbanization. Specializations include geographic information systems and remote sensing and their application in urban and regional planning, urban governance, and sustainability issues.
