She is awarded Ph.D in Biochemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1998. She holds a Master Degree (M.Sc) in Life Sciences from Central University of Hyderabad, India,in 1983, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in C.B.Z from Central University of Hyderabad as well, in 1981. She has extended her valuable service in research for more than 30 years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, she is working as Principal Scientist at Directorate of Sorghum Research, Hyderabad. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
