Biography

Joana Robalo | PhD in Biology and Master in Ethology. Associate Professor at ISPA-IU (Lisbon, Portugal) and member of the MARE research unit. Began her research career studying the behavior and genetics of freshwater fish in Portugal, but has expanded her work to molecular genetics/genomics and biogeography of other aquatic organisms.She began her research career studying the behavior and genetics of endemic freshwater fishes of Portugal, but through the years she have been gradually expanding my interests to marine organisms.
