Robert Gaspar was graduated as pharmacist at University of Szeged, Hungary in 1993. In 1996 he acquired his PharmD degree. In 2000 he got his PhD degree in the field of Reproductive pharmacology. His main interest is the investigation of mechanisms which may lead to the premature labor (e.g. adrenergic, sexual hormones, neuropeptides, intracellular enzymes, etc.). He also works on development of new, potential tocolytic agents, or new combinations of “old” tocolytics. He is also involved in the investigation of sexual hormone like effects of some natural products (e.g. honey bee products) and so-called “functional foods”. He makes his research and teaching activity at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Szeged, Hungary.
