Biography
Rui Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Geophysics at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His research interests cover broad aspects of exploration geophysics, including seismic inversion, seismic modeling and time-lapse seismic techniques. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at University of Houston. Rui Zhang is the primary author who investigated new inversion methods for thin-bed resolution and compared the results with VFSA pre- and post-stack inversion. He has published more than 30 research artilces in national and international journals.
