Santosh Mordekar

Dr. Santosh Mordekar been a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist since January 2006. He is the Clinical lead for Intrathecal Baclofen Service (ITB), movement disorder and spasticity service for children in the South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Lincolnshire region. He established multidisciplinary ITB clinics, specialist Paediatric movement disorder clinics and Tourette syndrome clinics. He was the Deanery Adviser in Paediatric Neurology for Trent region and sat on the Council of the British Paediatric Neurology Association from 2006-2012. He was a registered stakeholder for the NICE guidelines for spasticity in children published in 2012. As a Paediatric epilepsy training (PET) trainer, I have helped in developing the new modules for PET 1 and PET 2. He is the faculty of BPNA Movement Disorders Course and in the steering group of BPNA Distance Learning Course.

Dr. Santost Mordekar received FRCPCH from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2008, MRCP from Royal College of Physicians England, 1997. He received graduation in Bachelor of Surgery from TN Medical College, 1990, immediately Post-graduation Doctor of Medicine (MD) on Pediatrics Residency Program from University of Mumbai. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
