My background is in Sociology and my research interests are disability, difference, autism, disorder and qualitative methods. I completed my PhD at the University of Warwick in 2006 and began working in HERG as a Qualitative Researcher. My current work is focusing on the birth experiences of learning disabled mothers and exploring ways of including more 'seldom heard' people in research. I contribute to the MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care, HERG qualitative methods courses and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
