Biography

Dr Sarwar Beg has received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, in the year 2015. He has completed his Masters in Pharmaceutics from Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. His major areas of research interest include DoE/QbD-based development and characterization of controlled release drug delivery systems, and bioenhanced drug delivery systems. Till date he has authored more than 50 publications in various high impact peer-reviewed journals, 10 book chapters, 2 books and 1 Indian patent to his credit. He is also serving as an Editorial Board member of several reputed journals in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Overall, he has earned highly impressive published and cited record (Google Scholar H-Index: 12), with more than half of the papers on the QbD perspectives alone at his age. Dr Beg has also participated and presented his research work at over ten conferences in India, USA, Canada, China, Dubai, India, and bagged “Budding ADME Scientist Award 2013”, “Budding QbD Scientist Award 2014”, “Evonik Award 2015”, and several “Best Paper” awards to his credit.
