Biography
 Dr Shahnaz Murad is the Deputy Director-General of Health (Research and Technical Support), Ministry of Health Malaysia. She is responsible for the supervision of the 6 research institutes under the Ministry of Health. Prior to this she was Director of the Institute for Medical Research, Director of SEAMEO-TROPMED Regional Centre, National Head of the Pathology Service for the Ministry of Health and the Executive Officer for the Inter-Islamic Network for Tropical Medicine (INTROM).
