Biography

Dr. Shahzad Ali Shahid Chatha is currently affiliated to Department of Applied Chemistry & Biochemistry, Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan, continuing research in the specialized scientific area of isolation, purification and characterization of natural products, Development of functional food and pharmaceutical therapeutic compounds / agents to be a future anticancer, antimicrobial natural drugs. I am carrying out research on enzymatic textile processing and using biotechnological approaches for bioremediation of industrial waste water. Dr. Shahzad Ali Shahid Chatha is serving as an honorary reviewer for Journal of Food Processing & Technology & other reputed journals and has authored several articles along with chapters in different books related to Extraction and characterization of oligosaccharides from agro-wastes, Physiochemical characterization and antioxidant activity of different cultivars of carrot native to Pakistan, Chemical substitution study for mill sanitation process in sugar industry in Pakistan
