Biography

Dr. Shivaram prasad singh is working as a head of department of gastroenterollogy in scb medical college, he previously worked in Christian Medical College, Vellore. He is very active in the field of academics and public health awareness programmes. He has organized many State, National and International level Gastroenterology Conferences in Orissa, notably National Gastroenterology Conference in Cuttack in 1995 & International Peptic Ulcer Symposium at Bhubaneswar in 1995.  Has held many important posts in   Gastrointestinal/Liver/Endoscopic National bodies. He was National Executive Committee Member of INASL [Indian Association for study of the Liver], SGEI [Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India], & ISG [Indian Society of Gastroenterology].He is also the Founding  Member of Indian Pancreas Club [IPC]. Besides has  been faculty/chairperson at innumerable National & International Gastroenterology Meets. Has published a number of scientific papers in National and International Journals. He is also the Editor of Journal: Hepatitis B Annual. At present he is a member of ISG Taskforce on Hepatitis B and Chronic Diarrhea too.
