Biography
Prof. A.K. Srivastava has received his PhD in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University in 1988. Currently, he is working as Principal Scientist (Soil Science) in National Research Centre for Citrus, Nagpur, (Maharashtra), India. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Principal Scientist. His research has included: Characterization of Salt Affected Soils, Transformation and Availability of Nutrients.
Research Interest
Characterization of Salt Affected Soils, Transformation and Availability of Nutrients, Nutrient Constraints Analysis and Development of Soil-Plant Nutrient Diagnostics, Physiological Aspects of Citrus Nutrition, Modelling orchard efficiency vis-a-vis Soil Properties, Microirrigation and Fertigation Scheduling, Integrated Nutrient Management, Site Specific Nutrient Management; Development of Soil Fertility Map as Decision Support Tool; Soil Fertility Evaluation under Watershed Program; Intercrop-based Yield Prediction Models; Organic Manuring and Carbon Sequestration; and Abiotic Stress and Flowering.
