Stephen R Thom awarded PHD in Microbiology University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, in the year 1981.Currently he is working in Institute of Environmental medicine University of Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. Thom's research interests include the pathophysiology and treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning, pathophysiology of decompression sickness, cytoskeletal control of neutrophil beta-2 integrin adhesion, vasculogenic stem cell mediated neovascularization and the mechanisms of action of hyperbaric oxygen.
