Biography
Dr. Adam Stys is an Interventional Cardiologist at Sanford Heart Hospital and Program Director of Cardiovascular Fellowship. He also serves as a Clinical Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota. Dr. Stys serves on the Graduate Medical Education Committee and is a Faculty member of the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Stys is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Endovascular Medicine. Dr. Stys evaluates and treats a broad spectrum of heart and vascular diseases and performs several diagnostic procedures including cardiac catheterization and ASD/PFO closures. His clinical research interest focuses on interventional cardiology devices and medication therapies. In his free time, Dr. Stys enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
