Surajit Sarkar is an Assistant Professor of University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi. He has completed hid Ph.D from Banaras Hindu University, India. He has been a Visiting Associate of California Institute of Technology (Caltech) California, USA for the year June 2010 to June 2011. He has received Award for Junior/Senior Research Fellowship, (NET) Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. He is the Editorial Board Member of Several Eminent Journals and has Numbers of Papers published.
My research interest is primarily focused on harnessing the power of Drosophila genetics to add ress some basic questions associated with developmental genetics and for exploring the cellular and developmental basis of some fatal human neurodegenerative disorders such as Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease etc. and aging pr ocess.
