Biography

Dr Trupti V. Kotbagi has received her PhD in Chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory affiliated to the University of Pune, Pune, India under the guidance of Dr. Mohan Dongare. During her doctoral studies she worked on the project entitled ‘Synthesis of fine chemicals on renewables using supported metal oxides as catalysts’ which exclusively involved the synthesis and characterization of supported metal oxides and their applications as solid catalysts in valorization of glycerol. She had gained expertise in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, sol-gel chemistry, continuous reactors, handling and analysis of different physicochemical, microscopic and spectroscopic techniques.
