Dr. Tulika Chandra is associate professor and head of department of transfusion medicine, King George medical university, Lucknow, India. She has been instrumental in starting the blood component services all over the state of Uttar Pradesh by establishing Blood component separation units. She is a member of state blood transfusion council, national blood cell, national stem cell committee, technical expert for licensing authority. She has been awarded many awards including the academic excellence awards by KGMU. She is has many national and international publications to her credit. She has particularly worked in stem cell research and platelet storage studies.
