Dr. Yongqing Zhanga, is currently working at College of Computer Science, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China . His research interest includes Developmental Neurobiology and Genetic Modeling of Neurological Diseases. He is serving as an honorary reviewer for Current Synthetic and Systems Biology. He /she has authored of several research articles/books related to To understand how the brain functions using Drosophila melanogaster as a model system. The molecular and cellular features of vertebrate nervous system are extremely similar in Drosophila. Thus, studies on Drosophila will help reveal the mechanisms of human brain functions.
