Biography

He is affiliated to Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Shanghai Respiratory Research Institute, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, China He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of subject research. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Research Interest

 His reaserch interest on H5N1, H1N1 and the novel H7N9 are type A influenza viruses belonging to the RNA viral family Orthomyxoviridae. Unlike types B and C of the family, type A presents rapid evolution and variations in antigenicity, pathogenicity and host specificity capable of avian and mammalian infections.
