Biography
Dr. Abid Mahmood, Director General Agri. (Research), Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Faisalabad joined the Department of Agriculture as agricultural scientist in 1987. He earned his M.Phil. And Ph.D. degrees from University of Cambridge. He completed his Post-Doctorate from University of Nebraska, USA in 2004. He obtained Cambridge University Scholarship for M.Phil. And Ph.D. Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) Scholarship and Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Award. He won Overseas Research Students (ORS) Awards, UK for consecutive 3 years from 1989 to 1991.
