Carlisle Adams completed Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) Queen's University, Kingston, Canada. He worked for 13 years in cryptography and security engineering in the high-tech industry in Ottawa, Canada. He was Senior Cryptographer at Nortel Secure Networks, the business unit within Nortel that spun out to form Entrust, Inc.
