Biography

Dr Christina Malatzky is a qualitative feminist sociologist and dedicated tertiary educator. As a researcher, she is committed to the production of quality, sensitive and thoughtful research endeavours. Her sociological research encapsulates a broad range of interests that fit into different yet complementary areas of sociology (gender and health) and contributes to health fields including rural and public health. In the sociology of gender, her research has focused on feminine and maternal bodies and identities and gendered relationships, including bodily ideals.
