Biography

Dr. Crystyan Sileshave been working for the Naval Medical Research Unit No. 6 in the Virology and Emerging Infectious Disease Department since 2011. Dr. Crystyan Sileshave have been involved in multiple studies aiming to understand the epidemiology and transmission of diseases such as dengue, Mayaro, Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis, Zika and Guaroa viruses. Dr. Crystyan Sileshave currently serve as a research physician for a Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS) study performing febrile surveillance that covers 12 civilian and military clinics
