Emam is Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Faculty of Agriculture in Cairo University, Egypt. His interest comprises different areas; chilli pepper (Capsicum spp.) were evaluated for their contents of phenolic and flavonoid compounds and free radical-scavenging activity by DPPH• assay. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
