Biography

Dr. Emiko Takeuchi has received her PhD in Kitasato University school of Medicine in 2005. During the period of 2000-2002, she has studied Nephrology as Research Associate in Boston University Evans Bio Research Center, Renal section. Currently, she is working as a Junior Associate Professor in department of Immnology, Kitasato University School of Medicine. Her research has included basic immunology, clinical immunology, particularly focused on treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus by induction of bone marrow transplantation. She is a member of Japanese Society for Immunology, The Japanese Society for Clinical Immunology.
