Biography
Gabriela Gorelik research is focused on the study of T cell signaling abnormalities in systemic autoimmune diseases with special interest in lupus. Gabriela Goreliky goal is to provide a better understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms of T cell signaling to get the tools to interpret the abnormalities and their relationship with gene expression that may contribute to autoimmunity. It is known that genetic factors combined with environmental factors contribute to the onset of lupus, but what those factors are and how they interact is not well known.
