Dr. Scott V Harding, is Currently working in the Department of Biochemistry and Pediatrics, Memorial University, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Dr. Scott V Harding, research aims to understand how and why certain foods and dietary patterns promote health while others promote disease. In particular, 1) how dietary fats and sterols both prevent and promote coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes, 2) understanding how non-digestible carbohydrates reduce cardiometabolic risk and 3) better explaining the role dietary fructose plays in cardiometabolic risk development.
