Biography

Jessica is a Master's student in the Experimental Medicine program at the University of British Columbia under supervision of Dr. J. Mark FitzGerald. She received her BA in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in 2012. Jessica has a wide range of experience with community-based studies for lung health (asthma, COPD, and smoking cessation) in different ethnocultural communities. Her current work is focusing on content development of a Canadian version of a health literacy measurement tool for chronic disease management.
