Biography

Dr. Jigesh A. Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in abdominal transplant surgery. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston and then received advanced training in transplant surgery and abdominal transplant surgery through separate fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and Duke University, respectively. He got certified by the American Board of Surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.
