Biography

Jimenez- Sierra Juan Manuel is currently working as an eminent Faculty member at Retina Service Association To Prevent Blindness in Mexico, Private Assistance Institution Mexico. He has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies. He has extended his valuable service towards the scientific community with his extensive research work.  

Research Interest

The primary academic interest of Prof. Jimenez- Sierra Juan Manuel lies in angle closure glaucoma, as well as the laser and surgical treatments of glaucoma. Prof. Jimenez- Sierra Juan Manuel earlier work established a role for argon laser peripheral iridoplasty in the treatment of acute primary angle closure and other forms of angle closure glaucoma. His randomized controlled trials provided insight into the roles of lens extraction and other glaucoma surgeries in both acute and chronic primary angle closure cataract eye.
