Biography

Dr. Juliette Schaafsma is professor of Cultures in Interaction at Tilburg University. She conducts interdisciplinary research into social relationships, with a focus on interethnic contacts and processes of inclusion and exclusion, polarization and reconciliation. Dr. Schaafsma is also a cultural anthropologist and her current research is mainly in the field of social and cross-cultural psychology.
