Mieke Beckwé

Biography

She finished her MSc in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2009. She is currently working in the Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Pleinlaan 2, B-1050 Brussels, Belgium.

Research Interest

The (biological, environmental) origin and consequences of repetitive thoughts, worrying and rumination. The limits they impose on cognitive functioning in experimental settings as well as in real life, and their role in cognitive disfunctioning and psychological disorders.
