Biography
Dr. Nagib Ali Elmarzugi (Associate Professor) is an academic visiting staff in the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Institute of Bioproduct Development, department of Bioproduct research and innovation, cosmeceutical and fragrance Lab. He received his BSc. Pharm (1994) from faculty of Pharmacy, Tripoli (Alfateh) University, Libya and PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Bionanotechnology (2005) from the University of Nottingham, UK. He joined department of industrial Pharmacy, faculty of Pharmacy, Tripoli University (2005) and involved in many teaching and educational activity include design and deliver many modules of pharmaceutical biotechnology, unit operations, pharmaceutical technology and engineering of drug formulations. In, 2009, he found the BioNano integration research group at Biotechnology research center of Libya and research work focused on preparation and characterization of golden and silver nanoparticles. His recent research is focused on characterization and optimization of Nanospray, Nanoemulsion and Nanoemulgel formulations based on different natural oils and resources for cosmeceutical and skin care applications.
