Dr. Nawal H. Ammar is a Ph.D. candidate. She is the Head of Faculty at Rowan University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has 15 years of experience as a dean or associate dean at three different universities in the US and Canada. She is also still an active researcher and her research areas are IPV and immigrant women, Muslims in prison, and Islam and ecological justice.
