Biography
Nishat Tasnim is a Postdoctoral Associate. Her research focuses on developing treatments for neuronal dysfunction using tissue engineering or neural stimulation. She pursued her Ph.D. in Materials Engineering and MS & BS in Electrical Engineering. Her Ph.D. research included developing therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative disorders using stem cells and advanced materials. She also designed and micro-fabricated many planar and intracortical electrodes for neural recording in animal model.
