Biography
Dr. Paresh Dandona is Chief of Endocrinology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He had a distinguished career in English medicine before crossing the Atlantic. A former Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, he went on to spend many years in the British medical care system, eventually heading the Diabetes Service at the Royal Hospital and School of Medicine in Sheffield. He came to the United States in 1991 to assume his present role and set up the Diabetes-Endocrinology Center of Western New York which he directs.
