Biography

R. T. Espejo is full professor at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology (INTA), University of Chile; internationally known for his contributions in Microbiology, molecular biology, Biotechnology, and food-associated infectious diseases. He has more than 90 ISI publications with more than 3,800 citations (scholar.google.com/citations). R.T. Espejo is member of the American Academy of Microbiology, the Chilean Academy of Sciences and has participated in several international committees; Steering Committee, "Scientific working group on viral diarrheas: Microbiology, epidemiology, immunology and vaccine development".
