Biography
Dr. Chinni has extensive research experience using various molecular and atomic spectroscopies and also using separation techniques of gas chromatography (GC) and high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). Dr. Chinni currently focuses on using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) for various research studies including showing its applicability to undergraduate education. She also encourages undergraduate research and helps students to develop projects relating to Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Spectroscopy.  She has had students present their research at local and national conferences and also has published their research in peer-reviewed journals.
