Dr. Saif Khairat is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Previously, Dr. Khairat served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Institute for Health Informatics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Khairat is the Chair-Elect of the Education Working Group, and member of the Working Group Steering Committee at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). Among his research interests are mobile technologies in chronic disease management, and human factors in EMR systems.
