Sandrine Aspeslagh, MD, PhD, is a medical oncologist with the Department of Therapeutic Innovation and Early Trials (DITEP) of Gustave Roussy, the leading center for cancer control in Europe. She holds a doctorate in immunology obtained in 2012 from the University of Ghent in Belgium and specialized in immuno-oncology. In 2014 she won the Georges Mathé Prize for immunotherapy and joined the DITEP in the team of Professor Jean-Charles Soria and Dr Aurélien Marabelle. She is co-investigator of several Phase I immunotherapy clinical trials in patients with advanced cancer. She also teaches courses with the interns of Gustave Roussy, on topics related to immunotherapy. She is co-author of several publications on targeted therapies and immunotherapy.
