Biography
Wenyaw Chan is currently a Professor of Biostatistics and Data Science at the School of Public Health, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Chan’s main research interest is in the development and application of stochastic models (particularly on continuous time Markov chains) to public health longitudinal studies. He has also served as PI or Co-Investigator for more than 40 funded public health projects, supervised more than 30 doctoral dissertations.
