Biography
Dr. Kamal Hussein obtained his Ph.D. in clinical veterinary medicine at Kangwon National University, South Korea in Feb, 2016. His PhD work entitled “Development of a bioengineered transplantable liver graft with re-endothelialized vasculature for generating humanized organ”. He has been focusing on decellularization of rat and porcine liver, followed by recellularization with human hepatocytes and endothelial cells for engineering organ mimics human liver microenvironment.
