Biography

Dr. Yvonne Chia is a Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She has been providing medical care at Western Psychiatric Hospital since 2009.  She attended MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine (now Drexel University) and completed Family Medicine residency at UPMC-Shadyside.  Prior to becoming a member of the Department, she worked in private practice, urgent care, and also as residency faculty.  She was part of the team that received a 2015 Western Psychiatric Hospital Exemplary Teaching Service Award.
