Adolescent Pregnancy Risks in a City of Average Size in Northeastern Brazil

Pregnancy in adolescence is related with greater social vulnerability, and not with biologic risk when equated with pregnancy at adult age. It is seen that pregnancy in adolescence is not related with unfavorable perinatal or obstetric results, but is related with greater social vulnerability when compared with those of adult pregnant women.
