Diabetes mellitus is a major threat to global public health as the world wide incidences rising day by day and now emerging as global epidemic affecting approximately 285 million people worldwide that will increase to 439 million by 2030. International Diabetic Federation (IDF) has estimated that by 2025 every fifth diabetic subject in world will be an Indian.
