Staphylococcus sciuri outbreak

Members of theStaphylococcus sciuri (S. sciuri) group are generally considered to be bacteria of doubtful pathogenicity in human diseases. CNS are nosocomial pathogens associated with multiple antimicrobialresistance mechanisms including, in particular, methicillin resistance. Antibiograms for selected bacteria (S. aureus, S. sciuri) were obtained by the disk diffusion method. Isolates were inoculated according to the recommendations of the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards
