Histological Study on the Potential Effect of Sildenafil on the Kidney and Testosterone Level in Experimentally Induced Diabetes in Male Rats

This study concluded that diabetes type I resulted in pronounced oxidative stress that affected renal function and structure and reduced testosterone level. Sildenafil administration for 8 weeks proved to have a potential renal protective capacity at both morphological and functional levels.
