Cardio toxicity can be referred as the dysfunction of cardiac muscles due to poisonous or deleterious effects of certain compounds on heart. The major reasons for cardiac toxicity are intake of certain drugs such as bupivacaine or due to chemotherapy. Cardiotoxic substance affects the electrophysiological activity of heart. This toxicity specifically affects the patients undergoing cancer chemotherapy treatment. Antineoplastic drugs are one of the major cardio toxic drugs which cause toxicity in the vascular system.
