Claus Muss is a well known and frequent speaker at international conferences. He is a researcher in clinical biochemistry and also a specialist in nutritional medicine. After his graduation from the medical School of Munich and Berlin in Germany he has further specialized in the field of preventive medicine. He has gathered now more than 15 years of clinical experience as a head of medical clinical centres for preventive and nutritional medicine in European Countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland.He started his academic career as the chief lecturer of the first international postgraduate program in Nutritional Medicine at the Danube University in Austria. He has been involved in various research work and field studies organized by the WHO worldwide and completed his Ph.D Thesis and Habilitation as a Docent at the St. Elisabeth University Bratislava (EU). This University has appointed him accordingly as professor in the department of public health. In 2011 he was also appointed visiting professor to the UCSI University in Malaysia. He is the president of the International Research Group for Preventive Medicine (I-GAP) Vienna which presently constitutes one of the largest non profit organisations worldwide collaborating for education and research in the field of preventive medicine.
