Mohammad Nahid Siddiqui is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He received his PH.D. in 1997, from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. His area of research interest includes but not limited to: Recycling of Waste Plastics with Petroleum Residue and Catalysts; Desulphurization; Crude oils, Asphalts and Their Fractions with Emphasis on the Chemistry of Asphaltenes; Resid Upgrading: Thermal and Catalytic Cracking and Asphalt aging and Polymer Modification. He has published more than 115 papers in international journals and conferences. He has filed 8 patents with USPTO. He is a member of the International Editorial Board of Fuel, Ciencia, Technologia y Futuro, Recent Patents on Chemical Engineering, Journal of Environmental Protection and Journal of Fuel. He is also a member of American Chemical Society (ACS), Washington, USA.
